It happens more than you'd think. If something of yours stayed behind, we'll do our best to find it and get it back to you.
How to reach us
Send us a short description of the item. What it is, where you think you last had it, and the date of your visit to info@reykjabod.is.
We reply within 24 hours on weekdays and within 48 hours on weekends.
What we keep, and for how long
14 days
Towels, swimwear, and everyday clothing like t-shirts, socks, the usual suspects. After a week, unclaimed textiles are washed and donated.
3 months
Phones, cameras, headphones, and other electronics. Wallets, bags, and backpacks. Jewelry, glasses, keys. Anything of clear value.
Getting it back to you
If you're still in Iceland, the simplest way is to pick it up at reception. Just bring the confirmation from our reply.
If you're already home, we can ship it. The cost of shipping depends on size, weight, and destination. We'll confirm the exact cost before anything leaves the building. Payment is arranged via email and a secure payment link. Lost property is mailed once a week on Tuesdays.
